Denver Colorado -- June 1, 2008 -
Northern Communications Group today announced the introduction of NEC's Univerge SV8100 Communications Server.
The Univerge SV8100 Communications Server is an advanced IP Hybrid telecommunications server. The architecture of the SV8100 provides communications utilizing Voice Over Internet Protocol, or Voice Over IP. While IP Telephony is the backbone of the Univerge SV8100 system, the technology goes beyond that of the common IP PBX, as it has the technology to easily incorporate analog and digital telephones into a unified communications package.
"We look forward to the many ways NEC's Univerge SV8100 platform will be able to benefit our customers," said Jason Long, president of Northern Communications Group. "The platform of the SV8100 makes IP telephony affordable for the smallest businesses. We have the ability to provide a basic small business telephone system that can grow into larger businesses utilizing the most advanced Unified Messaging and Contact Center technologies available. "
The NEC Univerge SV8100 product is available immediately for businesses to implement.
